Job Qualifications

Degree In Biochemistry Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Biochemistry Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Scientist, Bioanalytical Position At Abbvie. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Techniques Of Bioanalytical Science.
Previous Experience In Bioanalytical Research: Most Positions At Abbvie Require At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Bioanalytical Research Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Candidate's Ability To Design And Execute Experiments, Analyze Data, And Troubleshoot Issues.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: As A Pharmaceutical Company, Abbvie Must Adhere To Strict Regulatory Guidelines For Drug Development. A Scientist, Bioanalytical Must Have A Strong Understanding Of These Regulations, Such As Good Laboratory Practices (Glp) And Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp), To Ensure Compliance In Their Work.
Familiarity With State-Of-The-Art Analytical Techniques: A Scientist, Bioanalytical Should Be Proficient In A Variety Of Analytical Techniques Used In Drug Discovery And Development, Such As Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, And Immunoassays. Familiarity With Emerging Technologies And Instrumentation Is Also Important For Staying Current In The Field.
