  1. Develop and implement effective communication strategies for regional markets that align with AbbVie's overall objectives and brand image.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and regulatory, to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication across multiple channels.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, key opinion leaders, and advocacy groups.
  4. Serve as a key spokesperson for AbbVie in the region, communicating key messages and representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
  5. Monitor and track regional communication trends and industry developments to inform and enhance communication strategies.
  6. Provide guidance and support to local communication teams in the development and execution of regional initiatives.
  7. Oversee the creation and distribution of communication materials, including press releases, media kits, and digital content, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  8. Manage crisis communication and issues management for the region, working closely with global communication teams and senior leadership to protect and enhance AbbVie's reputation.
  9. Develop and manage budgets for regional communication initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to promote a high-performing and engaged team.
  11. Collaborate with global communication teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all markets.
  12. Continuously evaluate and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in communications, integrating new ideas and approaches into regional strategies.
  14. Represent AbbVie at regional conferences, events, and other external engagements, promoting our brand and enhancing our reputation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Communications, Preferably Within The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Audiences

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With Experience Managing A Team And Multiple Projects Simultaneously
