Job Description

  1. Conduct quality control testing on various products to ensure they meet safety and efficacy standards set by regulatory agencies and company guidelines.
  2. Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using various techniques, such as HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometry.
  3. Properly document and report all test results, including deviations and any issues that may arise during testing.
  4. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  5. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times.
  6. Participate in method development and validation studies to continuously improve testing processes and procedures.
  7. Review and approve data generated by junior QC technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing and R&D, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  9. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents to ensure uninterrupted testing operations.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines related to quality control and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist in resolving technical issues.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize potential hazards in the laboratory.
  14. Participate in internal and external audits and assist in preparing and providing necessary documentation.
  15. Act as a role model for junior QC technicians by demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field, Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Pharmaceuticals.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Quality Control Role Within The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cgmp Regulations And Fda Guidelines.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Experience With Laboratory Equipment And Techniques, Such As Hplc, Gc, And Microbiological Testing.
