- Conduct quality control testing on various products to ensure they meet safety and efficacy standards set by regulatory agencies and company guidelines.
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using various techniques, such as HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometry.
- Properly document and report all test results, including deviations and any issues that may arise during testing.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times.
- Participate in method development and validation studies to continuously improve testing processes and procedures.
- Review and approve data generated by junior QC technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing and R&D, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents to ensure uninterrupted testing operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines related to quality control and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize potential hazards in the laboratory.
- Participate in internal and external audits and assist in preparing and providing necessary documentation.
- Act as a role model for junior QC technicians by demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to quality.
Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field, Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Pharmaceuticals.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Quality Control Role Within The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Cgmp Regulations And Fda Guidelines.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues.
Experience With Laboratory Equipment And Techniques, Such As Hplc, Gc, And Microbiological Testing.
