  1. Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to advance ADC research and drive progress in the biotechnology field.
  2. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective collaboration in ADC drug discovery and development.
  3. Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in ADC research to guide the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments and studies.
  4. Identify and evaluate new technologies and approaches for ADC development, and incorporate them into project plans as appropriate.
  5. Take a hands-on role in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and troubleshooting issues to support project goals.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on ADCs, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues and contributing to scientific publications and presentations.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including academic partners and contract research organizations, to drive ADC research and development.
  8. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the field of biotechnology, particularly in ADC research, and apply this knowledge to enhance project strategies.
  9. Support the development of project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensure timely and successful completion of project milestones.
  10. Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the organization, and actively participate in initiatives to improve processes, technologies, and capabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field: A Principal Research Scientist At Abbvie Must Have A Phd Or Equivalent Degree In Immunology, Biochemistry, Or A Related Field To Be Considered For The Role. This Level Of Education Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of The Scientific Principles And Techniques Required For Antibody Drug Conjugate Research.

  • Extensive Experience In Antibody Drug Conjugate Development: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Developing Antibody Drug Conjugates, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Advancing Adcs Through Preclinical And Clinical Development Stages.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Drug Discovery And Development Processes: A Principal Research Scientist Should Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of All Aspects Of Drug Discovery And Development, Including Target Identification, Lead Optimization, Preclinical And Clinical Research, And Regulatory Requirements. This Knowledge Is Essential For Effectively Leading And Managing An Adc Research Team.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Scientists, Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Research Projects Forward. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Be Able To Inspire And Motivate Others, And Have Experience In Managing Complex Projects To Meet Timelines And Deliverables.

  • Strong Publication Record And Scientific Expertise: A Principal Research Scientist At Abbvie Should Have A Strong Publication Record, Demonstrating Their Expertise In Antibody Drug Conjugate Research And Other Relevant Scientific Areas. This Role Also Requires Staying Up-To-Date With The Latest Scientific Advancements And Actively Contributing To The Scientific Community Through Publications, Presentations, And Collaborations.
