Conduct high-quality scientific research in the field of pharmaceuticals to develop innovative medicines that address serious health issues and improve people's lives.
Lead and manage complex research projects, including setting goals, developing protocols, and overseeing data collection and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to drive forward research and development efforts.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field: A Principal Research Scientist At Abbvie Should Possess A Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmacology. This Level Of Education Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Scientific Principles And Advanced Research Techniques.
Extensive Research Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Research-Based Role In The Pharmaceutical Industry Or Academia. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Successful Research Projects And Publications.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Principal Research Scientist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Scientists And Managing Complex Research Projects. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
