Conduct research and experiments in the field of Material Science to develop novel materials for potential therapeutic applications.
Collaborate with a team of scientists to design and execute experiments and analyze data.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of Material Science and contribute to the development of new technologies and techniques.
Write and publish scientific papers and present findings at conferences and seminars.
Develop and maintain protocols and standard operating procedures for laboratory experiments.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Train and mentor junior team members, including graduate students and interns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, biologists, and engineers, to achieve project goals.

Job Qualifications

Phd In Material Science Or A Related Field: A Post-Doc/Senior Scientist I In The Field Of Material Science At Abbvie Would Require A Candidate To Have A Phd In Material Science Or A Closely Related Field. This Would Ensure That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of The Fundamental Principles Of Material Science And Is Equipped With The Necessary Skills To Conduct Research In This Area.
Extensive Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Would Have Several Years Of Research Experience In The Field Of Material Science. This Could Include Experience As A Post-Doctoral Researcher, Industrial Research Experience, Or Experience In An Academic Setting. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Conducting High-Quality Research And Publishing In Reputable Journals.
Expertise In Advanced Material Characterization Techniques: Abbvie Is A Leading Pharmaceutical Company That Specializes In Developing Innovative Medicines. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Advanced Material Characterization Techniques Such As Sem, Tem, Xrd, Afm, And Ftir.
