MSL Field Director, Dermatology - Southeast

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the Dermatology portfolio within the Southeast region.
2. Lead a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) in the Southeast region to achieve objectives and deliver high-quality scientific communication and support to healthcare professionals.
3. Foster a high-performing and collaborative team environment, providing coaching and mentoring to MSLs to ensure their professional development.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals to expand AbbVie's presence and influence in the Dermatology field.
5. Stay updated on scientific and clinical knowledge related to AbbVie's Dermatology products and competitors' products, and effectively communicate this information to the team and stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide scientific expertise and support for product launches, advisory boards, and other scientific events.
7. Develop and manage the budget for the MSL team in the Southeast region, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve business objectives.
8. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
9. Represent AbbVie at national and regional conferences, symposia, and other scientific events.
10. Continuously monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the MSL team's performance.
11. Act as a liaison between the MSL team and other internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving business goals.
12. Support the development and execution of training programs for the MSL team to enhance their scientific knowledge and communication skills.
13. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new MSL team members, ensuring a diverse and talented team.
14. Act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a culture of integrity and compliance within the team and the organization.
15. Act as a brand ambassador for AbbVie, promoting the company's mission and values in all interactions with stakeholders.
