  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the field of neuroscience.
  2. Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate and up-to-date information on AbbVie's neuroscience products and therapies.
  3. Keep abreast of the latest developments and advances in the field of neuroscience, and effectively communicate this information to colleagues, KOLs, and healthcare professionals.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and launch of innovative treatments for neurological disorders.
  5. Attend and present at scientific conferences, symposia, and other events to share scientific data and insights related to AbbVie's neuroscience products.
  6. Provide scientific support for medical and promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  7. Conduct scientific presentations and training sessions for internal teams, as well as external stakeholders.
  8. Participate in advisory boards and other scientific meetings to gather insights and feedback from KOLs and healthcare professionals.
  9. Identify and initiate collaborations with KOLs and other external partners to support research and educational initiatives.
  10. Adhere to all relevant industry regulations, guidelines, and AbbVie's code of conduct while performing job duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Medicine Or Life Sciences: A Medical Science Liason In Neuroscience At Abbvie Must Possess At Least A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Or Neuroscience. A Higher Degree Such As A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Is Preferred.

  • Strong Understanding Of Neuroscience: Candidates Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Neuroscience And Related Diseases Such As Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, And Multiple Sclerosis. They Should Also Have A Strong Grasp Of The Latest Research And Developments In The Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Medical Science Liason, Effective Communication And Presentation Skills Are Crucial. Candidates Must Be Able To Clearly And Confidently Communicate Complex Scientific Information To A Variety Of Audiences, Including Healthcare Professionals, Researchers, And Internal Teams.

  • Previous Experience In Medical Affairs Or Clinical Research: Prior Experience In Medical Affairs Or Clinical Research Is Highly Desired For This Role. This Includes Experience In Managing Clinical Trials, Conducting Medical Education Programs, Or Working As A Medical Science Liason In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Company.

  • Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships: The Medical Science Liason Role Involves Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders, Healthcare Professionals, And Internal Stakeholders. Candidates Must Have Exceptional Networking Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Others To Achieve Shared Goals.
