  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of gastroenterology to identify and address unmet medical needs and advance healthcare innovation.
  2. Serve as a scientific expert and resource for healthcare professionals, providing accurate and up-to-date information on AbbVie's products and pipeline in gastroenterology.
  3. Utilize strong knowledge of gastroenterology and current research to effectively communicate complex scientific information to various audiences.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for key opinion leader engagement and medical education initiatives.
  5. Stay abreast of the latest developments in gastroenterology and translate scientific data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  6. Represent AbbVie at key scientific conferences and events, networking with healthcare professionals and presenting scientific data.
  7. Conduct scientific presentations and respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner.
  8. Act as a liaison between AbbVie and key opinion leaders, providing feedback on medical and scientific trends, needs, and opportunities.
  9. Participate in clinical trial activities, including site identification, recruitment, and data dissemination.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards to ensure ethical and responsible conduct in all interactions with healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Pharmacy, Medicine, Or Biology.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, With A Focus On Gastroenterology Or A Related Therapeutic Area.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Clinical Development Process And Experience With Medical Affairs And/Or Clinical Research.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Key Opinion Leaders And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proven Ability To Work Independently, Manage Multiple Projects, And Collaborate Cross-Functionally With Internal Teams And External Stakeholders.
