  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership for the development of neuroscience programs at AbbVie.
  2. Oversee the clinical development of new treatments for neurological disorders, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trials, from study concept to final data analysis.
  4. Analyze and interpret clinical trial data to assess the safety and efficacy of potential treatments.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in neuroscience research, and use this knowledge to drive innovation within AbbVie.
  6. Serve as a key representative for AbbVie in interactions with regulatory agencies, external partners, and key opinion leaders in the field of neuroscience.
  7. Provide medical input and guidance for the development of clinical study protocols, study reports, and other regulatory documents.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of scientists and clinicians, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to develop strategies for successful launch and commercialization of neuroscience products.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) With Board Certification In Neurology Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Development Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Neuroscience Therapeutic Areas, Such As Neurodegenerative Diseases, Movement Disorders, Or Neuromuscular Disorders

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design And Execution, Including Experience With Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Clinical Development Professionals.
