  1. Oversee the safety programming activities for clinical studies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead and manage a team of statistical programmers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and biostatistics, to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  4. Develop and maintain programming standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  5. Utilize statistical programming skills to analyze and report safety data, identifying trends and potential safety concerns.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and guidelines related to safety programming, and implement changes as needed.
  7. Conduct quality control checks on programming deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  8. Communicate and present safety data and analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
  9. Manage timelines and resources to ensure timely completion of programming deliverables.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  11. Mentor and develop team members, providing performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure high-quality programming deliverables.
  13. Participate in project team meetings and provide updates on safety programming activities.
  14. Represent the company at industry conferences and meetings related to statistical programming and patient safety.
  15. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Statistical Programming Languages And Software, Such As Sas, R, And Python.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Methodologies And Regulatory Requirements For Drug Safety.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, With At Least 3 Years In A Managerial Role.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Advanced Degree In Statistics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
