  1. Develop and implement strategies for companion diagnostic programs in alignment with AbbVie's vision and goals.
  2. Manage and lead a team of professionals to ensure efficient and effective execution of companion diagnostic programs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize diagnostic needs for specific therapies.
  4. Oversee the design, development, and validation of companion diagnostic assays.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including diagnostic companies, to support the development and commercialization of companion diagnostic tests.
  6. Monitor and evaluate diagnostic market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to companion diagnostics.
  8. Manage budget and resource allocation for companion diagnostic operations.
  9. Communicate updates and progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  10. Continuously assess and improve companion diagnostic processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on companion diagnostics, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
  12. Work closely with commercial teams to develop and implement launch plans for companion diagnostic products.
  13. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to promote teamwork, growth, and development within the team.
  14. Stay up-to-date on advancements in personalized medicine and diagnostic technologies to identify potential opportunities for future projects.
  15. Represent AbbVie at conferences, meetings, and other industry events related to companion diagnostics.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Companion Diagnostic Development And Regulatory Requirements: The Manager Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Development And Regulatory Processes For Companion Diagnostics, Including Knowledge Of Relevant Guidelines And Regulations Such As The Fda's In Vitro Diagnostic (Ivd) Regulations.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: The Manager Should Have Experience In Managing Complex Projects With Multiple Stakeholders, Ensuring Timely Delivery And Effective Coordination Between Various Teams Involved In Companion Diagnostic Development.

  • Demonstrated Leadership And Team Management Abilities: The Manager Should Have Previous Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Scientists And Technicians, With A Proven Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members To Achieve Project Goals.

  • Experience In Molecular Biology And Diagnostic Testing: A Strong Background In Molecular Biology And Diagnostic Testing Methods Is Essential For The Manager To Effectively Oversee The Development, Validation, And Commercialization Of Companion Diagnostics.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Manager Should Be An Effective Communicator, Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams, External Partners, And Regulatory Agencies To Drive Companion Diagnostic Development Activities Forward. This Includes The Ability To Clearly And Concisely Present Complex Scientific Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
