Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and develop effective learning solutions that align with AbbVie's business goals.
Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for employees.
Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify learning trends and inform the development of learning solutions.
Serve as the subject matter expert for learning systems and technologies, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate and enhance existing learning systems and processes to ensure they are meeting the needs of employees and the organization.
Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and other resources to support the effective use of learning systems.
Train and support employees on how to effectively utilize learning systems and technologies.
Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends in instructional design and learning technologies.
Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to develop and implement new learning solutions.
Act as a project manager for learning system related initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to learning solutions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of learning system usage and performance.
Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee data.
Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Qualifications

Experience In Developing And Implementing Hybrid Learning Strategies: A Learning System Specialist At Abbvie Must Have A Deep Understanding Of How To Design And Implement Hybrid Learning Strategies That Combine Both Traditional Classroom Training And Digital Learning Methods. This Includes The Ability To Assess Training Needs, Design Blended Training Programs, And Evaluate Their Effectiveness.
Strong Knowledge Of Learning Management Systems (Lms): Abbvie's Learning System Specialist Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Learning Management Systems And Their Capabilities, As Well As Experience In Managing And Administering An Lms. This Includes The Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Provide Support To Users.
Familiarity With Instructional Design Principles: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Background In Instructional Design And A Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles. This Will Enable Them To Develop Engaging And Effective Training Materials That Meet The Needs Of A Diverse Workforce.
Experience In Project Management: As A Learning System Specialist, You Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Prioritize Tasks, And The Ability To Meet Deadlines And Manage Budgets.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Learning System Specialist At Abbvie Requires Constant Collaboration With Various Stakeholders, Including Subject Matter Experts, Trainers, And Learners.
