As the HTA Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) strategy and activities for our products across various markets.   1. Develop and implement the HTA strategy for AbbVie products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify HTA requirements and guidelines for different markets.
  3. Lead the preparation and submission of HTA dossiers for new products, line extensions, and updates.
  4. Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency and alignment in HTA submissions and strategies.
  5. Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in HTA processes and requirements across the markets.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for HTA agencies and stakeholders, representing AbbVie and advocating for our products.
  7. Provide strategic guidance and support to cross-functional teams on HTA-related activities, including pricing and reimbursement strategies.
  8. Proactively identify potential challenges or roadblocks in the HTA process and develop solutions to overcome them.
  9. Monitor and track HTA submissions and outcomes, and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of HTA submissions and deliverables.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external experts to gather insights and inform HTA strategies.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders.
  13. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to HTA submissions and activities.
  14. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HTA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on HTA-related topics and provide training and guidance to other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Health Economics, Public Health, Or Related Field: A Hta Manager At Abbvie Should Possess A Relevant Advanced Degree To Understand The Complexities Of Healthcare Systems And Economic Evaluations.

  • Experience In Health Technology Assessment: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Conducting Hta In A Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Market Access And Reimbursement Processes.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory And Reimbursement Landscape: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Regulatory And Reimbursement Requirements For Pharmaceutical Products, Including Knowledge Of Hta Processes In Relevant Markets.

  • Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills: A Hta Manager At Abbvie Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Make Strategic Recommendations Based On The Findings. Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Attention To Detail Are Also Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management: As A Hta Manager, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams, External Experts, And Government Agencies.
