- Develop and implement reimbursement strategies for AbbVie's Oral Migraine products in line with company objectives and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze healthcare policies, guidelines, and regulations to identify potential barriers to patient access and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and market access, to ensure reimbursement strategies align with overall business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, providers, and patient advocacy groups, to advocate for patient access to AbbVie's products.
- Educate and train internal teams, including sales representatives, on reimbursement policies and procedures to ensure consistent messaging and understanding.
- Conduct regular market assessments and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of reimbursement processes, including coding, coverage, and payment, for relevant healthcare settings.
- Monitor and track reimbursement metrics, such as reimbursement rates and trends, to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for healthcare providers and patients seeking reimbursement support, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Represent AbbVie at conferences, meetings, and other events to stay updated on the latest industry developments and promote our products and reimbursement strategies.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Life Sciences.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Reimbursement Or Patient Access For Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Products.
Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Reimbursement And Coverage Policies, Specifically In The Area Of Oral Migraine Medications.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Resolving Reimbursement Challenges And Building Relationships With Key Customers Such As Payers And Specialty Pharmacies.
