  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the development of therapies for immune-mediated diseases.
  2. Provide medical expertise and leadership for the Translational Medicine team in the field of Immunology.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute clinical development plans.
  4. Identify and evaluate potential new drug candidates in the field of immunology.
  5. Act as a key spokesperson for AbbVie in the field of immunology, building relationships with key opinion leaders and external partners.
  6. Oversee clinical trials and ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
  7. Analyze and interpret clinical data, and provide medical input for regulatory submissions.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of medical professionals, providing guidance and support in their development.
  9. Stay updated with advances in the field of immunology and provide insights to inform drug development strategies.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Translational Medicine team.
  11. Represent AbbVie at conferences, scientific meetings, and other events to showcase our immunology portfolio.
  12. Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and execute medical education programs and promotional materials.
  13. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investigators, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities.
  14. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  15. Maintain a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes and making a real impact in the field of immunology.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Equivalent) And Board Certification In Immunology Or Related Specialty.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry With A Focus On Translational Medicine In Immunology.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Leadership And Management Of Clinical Development Programs In The Field Of Immunology.

  • Deep Understanding Of Drug Development Process And Regulatory Requirements For Immunology Therapies.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Interact With Key Stakeholders, Including External Partners And Regulatory Agencies.
