- Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of AbbVie products to patients worldwide
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution channels
- Collaborate with internal teams, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to forecast and plan for product demand and ensure adequate inventory levels
- Negotiate contracts and establish partnerships with third-party logistics providers and distributors to ensure cost-effective and reliable distribution services
- Monitor and analyze distribution performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to distribution and transportation of pharmaceutical products
- Develop and manage distribution budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses
- Lead and mentor a team of distribution professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional development
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in distribution and supply chain management to continuously improve processes and procedures
- Represent AbbVie and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including distributors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Distribution Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills, With Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Multiple Distribution Facilities.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Distribution Processes, Including Inventory Management, Logistics, And Compliance Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
