  1. Develop and implement global regulatory strategies for AbbVie's pharmaceutical products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of regulatory strategies with overall business objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze global regulatory landscape to identify potential risks and opportunities for AbbVie's products.
  4. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to project teams in all aspects of regulatory strategy and submissions.
  5. Ensure timely and efficient preparation and submission of regulatory documents to health authorities.
  6. Participate in health authority meetings and negotiations as needed to support product approvals.
  7. Act as a key liaison with health authorities to facilitate communication and resolve any regulatory issues.
  8. Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and communicate potential impact to internal stakeholders.
  9. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as Clinical Development and Manufacturing, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  11. Represent AbbVie in industry forums and maintain relationships with external partners and regulatory consultants.
  12. Develop and manage budgets for global regulatory affairs activities.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  14. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency in regulatory operations.
  15. Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for new and emerging markets.
  16. Assess and mitigate potential risks to regulatory strategy and provide recommendations to senior management.
  17. Act as a subject matter expert for global regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  18. Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and innovation within the Regulatory Affairs team.
  19. Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  20. Uphold the company's values and code of conduct while representing AbbVie in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Regulatory Affairs: The Director, Ra Global Regulatory Strategy Should Possess A Post-Graduate Degree In Regulatory Affairs Or A Related Field Such As Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Or Biotechnology. This Qualification Demonstrates A Strong Theoretical And Practical Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Processes.

  • Extensive Regulatory Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years' Experience In Regulatory Affairs Is Required For This Role, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Position. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Broad Experience In Regulatory Strategy Development And Implementation Across Multiple Regions, Including The Us, Europe, And Asia.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Regulatory Requirements: The Director Should Have An In-Depth Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements, Including Drug Development, Submissions, Approval Processes, And Post-Marketing Activities. This Includes A Thorough Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines And Regulations From Major Regulatory Bodies Such As Fda, Ema, And Pmda.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: The Director Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Regulatory Professionals. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role As The Director Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Internal Stakeholders, Regulatory Authorities, And External Partners.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically And Proactively To Develop And Execute Global Regulatory Strategies. Strong Problem-Solving Abilities Are Also Essential For This Role As The Director Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Complex Regulatory Issues That May Arise During Drug Development And Commercialization.
