Develop and maintain a comprehensive privacy compliance program for the organization.
Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to departments and business units on privacy compliance matters.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audit activities to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with privacy laws.
Stay up-to-date on changes in privacy laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy compliance in new projects and initiatives.
Lead and manage a team of privacy compliance professionals to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy compliance matters and provide guidance to senior leadership.
Foster a culture of privacy and data protection throughout the organization.
Respond to privacy-related incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external partners to stay informed and ensure compliance.
Prepare and present reports on privacy compliance to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
Continuously evaluate and improve the privacy compliance program to meet changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all aspects of privacy compliance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Privacy Laws And Regulations: The Director Of Privacy Compliance Program Management At Abbvie Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Both Domestic And International Privacy Laws, Including Gdpr And Hipaa.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Privacy Compliance Programs: This Role Requires A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Executing Comprehensive Privacy Compliance Programs In A Large Organization.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization. Excellent Communication, Influencing, And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential.
Ability To Conduct Risk Assessments And Audits: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Conducting Privacy Risk Assessments And Audits To Identify Potential Areas Of Vulnerability And Recommend Appropriate Risk Mitigation Strategies.
Project Management Experience: The Director Of Privacy Compliance Program Management Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Projects And Initiatives Related To Privacy Compliance. A Strong Background In Project Management And The Ability To Manage Competing Priorities Is Essential For Success In This Role.
