Develop and execute strategic plans to advance AbbVie's portfolio of neuroscience products.
Drive growth for the organization by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the field of neuroscience.
Act as a visionary leader, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in neuroscience and using this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of neuroscience strategy across different departments and functions.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for growth and development within the neuroscience market.
Lead and mentor a team of neuroscience professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders in the neuroscience field.
Develop and manage budgets for neuroscience initiatives and projects.
Monitor and report on the progress and success of the organization's neuroscience strategy, making adjustments as needed.
Serve as an ambassador for AbbVie's neuroscience products, representing the organization at conferences, events, and other industry gatherings.
Stay informed of regulatory and compliance requirements within the neuroscience field and ensure all activities and initiatives are in line with these regulations.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the neuroscience team and the organization as a whole.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports on neuroscience initiatives and strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting and selling neuroscience products.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Neuroscience Or A Related Field: A Director, Neuroscience Strategy Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Neuroscience Or A Related Field To Effectively Understand And Analyze Complex Scientific Data And Information.
Extensive Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Neuroscience. This Experience Will Provide A Solid Understanding Of The Industry Landscape And Enable The Candidate To Develop Effective Strategies For Abbvie's Neuroscience Portfolio.
Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills: The Director, Neuroscience Strategy Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Long-Term Strategies For Abbvie's Neuroscience Portfolio. This Requires Strong Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills To Drive The Team And Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Neuroscience Research And Drug Development: The Director, Neuroscience Strategy Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Research And Developments In The Field Of Neuroscience, As Well As The Drug Development Process. This Will Enable The Candidate To Identify New Opportunities And Guide The Development Of Innovative Treatments.
