  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical development programs in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of clinical development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program execution.
  3. Oversee the design and conduct of clinical trials, including protocol development, study management, and data analysis.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and issues in clinical programs.
  6. Monitor and evaluate clinical trial progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality clinical data.
  7. Act as a key spokesperson for clinical development programs, representing AbbVie to internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Provide strategic input and guidance to senior management on clinical development plans and progress.
  9. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the clinical development organization.
  10. Stay current with industry advancements and trends in clinical trial design and execution, and incorporate best practices into clinical development strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: The Ideal Candidate For A Director I, Clinical Development Role At Abbvie Should Possess Advanced Degrees In Life Sciences Such As A Phd, Md, Or Pharmd.

  • Minimum 7 Years Of Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Clinical Development, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Experience In Designing And Executing Clinical Trials In Compliance With These Regulations.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: As A Director I, Clinical Development, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership And People Management Skills Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
