  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure patients have access to AbbVie's innovative therapies.
  2. Stay up-to-date on changes in the healthcare landscape, including policy and reimbursement changes, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Lead a team of access and reimbursement professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and medical, to ensure alignment and optimal patient access.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as payers, providers, and patient advocacy groups.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze access and reimbursement metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for access and reimbursement initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external stakeholders on access and reimbursement processes.
  10. Represent AbbVie at conferences, meetings, and other events related to access and reimbursement.
  11. Keep the executive leadership team informed of key developments, challenges, and opportunities in the access and reimbursement space.
  12. Continuously seek out and evaluate new opportunities for improving patient access to AbbVie's therapies.
  13. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the access and reimbursement team.
  14. Provide regular performance evaluations and development plans for team members.
  15. Serve as a role model for AbbVie's core values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Healthcare Reimbursement And Market Access Strategies.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Policies And Regulations Related To Reimbursement And Access.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Leadership Skills.
