Develop and implement global learning strategies and initiatives for the Immunology division in collaboration with senior leadership.
Provide leadership and direction to the international learning team, including setting goals, managing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and design programs that address the specific needs of the international team.
Oversee the creation and delivery of training materials, resources, and programs to support the development of team members.
Ensure that all learning initiatives are aligned with company goals and objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
Manage the budget for international learning initiatives, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in learning and development, applying them to the company's international learning strategy.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of international learning initiatives with other business functions.
Serve as a subject matter expert in immunology, providing guidance and support to team members on scientific and technical matters.
Represent the company at external events and conferences, promoting the company's learning initiatives and sharing best practices with industry peers.
Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and adapt learning strategies accordingly.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly seeking feedback and making necessary adjustments to learning initiatives.
Support the company's mission and values by embodying them in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Immunology Or Related Field: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Advanced Degree (Phd Or Equivalent) In Immunology Or A Related Field, Demonstrating A Strong Understanding Of The Subject Matter.
Extensive Experience In International Learning: The Associated Director Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In International Learning, Preferably Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry. This Experience Should Have Been Gained Through Leading Global Learning Initiatives And Managing Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Immunology Drug Development: In Addition To A Strong Understanding Of Immunology, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Development Process, Particularly As It Relates To Immunology Therapies. This Will Enable The Associated Director To Effectively Develop And Deliver Learning Programs That Address The Specific Needs Of The Company's Immunology Portfolio.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Leader Within The Organization, The Associated Director Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Lead A Team, As Well As Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
Global Mindset And Experience Working With Diverse Cultures: Abbvie Is A Global Company With A Diverse Workforce, And The Associated Director Should Have A Strong Global Mindset And Experience Working With Individuals From Different Cultures. This Will Be Essential In Developing And Delivering Effective Learning Programs That Cater To The Needs Of A Global Audience.
