  1. Develop and maintain AbbVie's safety data architecture strategy and roadmap to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
  3. Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data repositories to support the collection, storage, and analysis of safety data.
  4. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of safety data by implementing appropriate data governance policies and procedures.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data architecture for safety data management.
  6. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance safety data architecture.
  7. Develop and maintain data standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of safety data.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on data architecture-related issues.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in the management and utilization of safety data.
  10. Monitor and report on the performance of safety data systems and make recommendations for optimization.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration of safety data systems.
  12. Manage and mentor a team of data architects to support the development and implementation of safety data solutions.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership to provide updates, progress reports, and recommendations on data architecture initiatives.
  14. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to safety data management.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve patient safety and contribute to the overall mission of AbbVie as a global pharmaceutical company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Data Architecture, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Safety Data Management And Regulatory Requirements (E.g. Fda, Ema).

  • Experience With Data Integration And Management Tools Such As Sas, Oracle, Or Informatica.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
