
Associate Director, Physician Development Program - Oncology

- Develop and execute strategic plans to support the growth and development of AbbVie's oncology products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and prioritize key physician development opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and physicians in the oncology field.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities for physician development.
- Lead the development and implementation of educational programs and materials to support physician education and product adoption.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of physician development initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in oncology to inform strategies and initiatives.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support physician development programs.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster their personal and professional growth.
- Represent AbbVie at industry conferences, events, and meetings related to physician development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams, to align physician development strategies with overall business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all physician development activities.
- Proactively identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may impact the success of physician development initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of physician development programs.
- Act as a brand ambassador for AbbVie, promoting our mission, values, and commitment to improving the lives of cancer patients.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Associate Director Must Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing Teams, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Development And Execution Of The Physician Development Program For Abbvie's Oncology Division.
Extensive Knowledge Of Oncology: A Deep Understanding Of The Oncology Space Is Crucial For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Oncology, Including A Deep Understanding Of Current Treatment Options, Market Trends, And Competitor Landscape.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Associate Director Will Be Required To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Physicians And Kols. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Influence And Negotiate Will Be Key To Success In This Role.
Strategic Thinking And Planning: The Associate Director Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing The Long-Term Strategy For The Physician Development Program. This Requires The Ability To Think Strategically, Identify Opportunities, And Develop Plans To Achieve Program Goals.
Proven Track Record Of Success: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Developing And Executing Successful Physician Development Programs, Preferably In The Oncology Space. Previous Experience In A Similar Role Or In Pharmaceutical Sales And Marketing Would Be Highly Valued.
