  1. Oversee Pharmacy Services: The Associate Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy services onsite, including managing a team of pharmacists and technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing efficient processes.
  2. Develop and Implement Strategies: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy services, while also staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  3. Ensure Exceptional Patient Care: The Associate Director will be responsible for ensuring that all pharmacy services provided meet the highest standards of patient care. This includes monitoring and improving patient satisfaction, as well as addressing any patient concerns or complaints.
  4. Manage Team: The Associate Director will be responsible for managing a team of pharmacists and technicians, including hiring, training, and performance management. They will also provide guidance and support to help team members develop their skills and achieve their goals.
  5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: The successful candidate will work closely with other department leaders, including physicians, nurses, and administrators, to coordinate and improve the delivery of patient care.
  6. Monitor and Report on Key Performance Indicators: The Associate Director will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to pharmacy services, including productivity, medication errors, and patient outcomes.
  7. Ensure Compliance: The Associate Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This includes maintaining accurate records and implementing protocols to prevent medication errors.
  8. Budget Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the budget for pharmacy services, including forecasting and monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  9. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: The Associate Director will be responsible for staying current with industry developments, including changes in regulations, new technologies, and emerging trends, and implementing any necessary changes to improve pharmacy services.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Pharmacy: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree Or Equivalent Is Required For This Role.

  • Previous Leadership Experience: At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Pharmacy Setting Is Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Management, Inventory Management, And Compliance With Regulatory Requirements.

  • Clinical Expertise: The Associate Director Should Have A Strong Clinical Background And Be Knowledgeable In Areas Such As Drug Therapy, Pharmacology, And Disease Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Collaboration And Communication With Various Stakeholders, Including Healthcare Providers, Patients, And Internal Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
