
Associate Director, Global Category Lead (Marketing and Print)

- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for marketing and print categories in alignment with AbbVie's overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the sourcing process, including market analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sourcing opportunities, and establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for sourcing initiatives.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to marketing and print procurement, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Conduct regular market and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, drive innovation, and ensure competitiveness.
- Manage global contracts for marketing and print categories, including monitoring supplier performance, conducting regular reviews, and implementing improvements as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in marketing and print procurement to continuously enhance sourcing strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to sourcing and procurement activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on sourcing initiatives, cost savings, and other relevant metrics.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Business, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Marketing And Print Procurement, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry
Strong Understanding Of Global Marketing Strategies And Trends
Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders
