Job Description

As an Associate Director of Biomarker Program Management, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our biomarker programs. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual with a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of the drug development process.   1. Lead and oversee the development and implementation of biomarker programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical, and regulatory departments, to develop and execute biomarker strategies.
  3. Manage the overall project plan and timeline for biomarker programs, ensuring timely and successful completion of milestones.
  4. Monitor and track biomarker program progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
  5. Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal team members and external partners, including CROs and academic institutions.
  6. Ensure timely and accurate data collection and analysis, working closely with biostatisticians and data management teams.
  7. Develop and manage program budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  8. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on program progress and key metrics.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in biomarker technologies and incorporate them into program strategies as appropriate.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  11. Participate in the evaluation and selection of potential biomarker targets and technologies.
  12. Maintain a high level of quality and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  13. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  14. Represent the company at scientific conferences and meetings, presenting biomarker program updates and findings.
  15. Act as a key liaison between the biomarker program team and other internal and external stakeholders, coordinating efforts and ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field, Preferably In Biology, Biochemistry, Or A Related Discipline.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Biomarker Program Management Within The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Complex Projects With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Biomarker Discovery And Development, Including Biomarker Identification, Validation, And Clinical Implementation.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Scientific Teams, And External Partners.
