Job Description

AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Account Executive for our Neuroscience division. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our neuroscience products to healthcare professionals. We are looking for someone with a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and a deep understanding of the neuroscience market.   1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for AbbVie's neuroscience division.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, to effectively promote and sell our neuroscience products.
  3. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to develop and implement promotional materials and educational programs for healthcare professionals.
  5. Utilize strong product knowledge and understanding of the neuroscience market to effectively communicate the value and benefits of AbbVie's products to healthcare professionals.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  7. Attend conferences, seminars, and other events to network and promote AbbVie's neuroscience products.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM system.
  9. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines while promoting and selling AbbVie's products.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for AbbVie, representing the company and its values in a professional manner at all times.
  12. Continuously seek out new business opportunities and maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and strategies.
  13. Collaborate with key opinion leaders and other influential figures in the neuroscience field to increase brand awareness and credibility.
  14. Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  15. Travel to various territories as needed to meet with healthcare professionals and attend meetings and events.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Pharmaceutical Sales, With A Focus On Neuroscience Products.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Neuroscience.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Neuroscience Market And Competitive Landscape.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders Including Healthcare Professionals, Payers, And Patients.
