Job Description

If so, Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for our Structural Heart division, specifically focusing on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth in your designated territory through strategic planning, development of key customer relationships, and effective management of sales activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical device sales, a deep understanding of the structural heart market, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and increase market share in the designated territory.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including physicians, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Conduct market analysis and stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape in order to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  4. Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing sales activities, including but not limited to product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, clinical, and reimbursement, to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales goals.
  6. Train and educate healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of our TAVI products and provide ongoing support and education as needed.
  7. Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends in the territory, providing regular updates to management.
  8. Attend conferences, tradeshows, and other industry events to promote Abbott's TAVI products and increase brand awareness.
  9. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and provide insights and recommendations to management for staying ahead of competitors.
  10. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including but not limited to compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
  11. Continuously develop and enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry developments and advancements in the structural heart market.
  12. Represent Abbott and its values in a professional and ethical manner at all times, ensuring a positive image and reputation in the industry and among customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Goals.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Medical Device Sales, Specifically In The Structural Heart Or Tavi Space.

  • Strong Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology Related To The Cardiovascular System.

  • Excellent Communication, Presentation, And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
