  1. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Abbott products, utilizing historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, evaluate market trends, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and demand patterns to identify potential supply chain issues and make proactive recommendations.
  4. Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Communicate demand forecasts and any potential changes to key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and production teams.
  6. Analyze sales and inventory data to identify potential gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to gather insights and understand market demand.
  8. Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to demand planning, such as forecast accuracy and product availability.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in market demand to inform demand planning strategies.
  11. Train and mentor junior demand planners to improve their skills and knowledge.
  12. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain performance.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and compliance.
  14. Represent Abbott in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and mission.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and drive innovation in demand planning.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning Or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Use Data To Drive Decision-Making.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Influence Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Demand Planning Software And Tools, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Jda, And Advanced Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
