If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Regional Sales Director for CardioMEMS at Abbott.In this role, you will lead a team of sales representatives in promoting and selling our innovative CardioMEMS technology to healthcare providers and institutions within your designated region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, as well as fostering relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenue growth.To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of sales success, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry.   1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for the CardioMEMS technology in the designated region.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their success.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and other institutions, to promote and sell the CardioMEMS technology.
  4. Utilize market knowledge and industry insights to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies.
  5. Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives, while effectively managing and forecasting sales performance.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical, and reimbursement, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for the sales team to improve their skills and capabilities.
  9. Represent Abbott and the CardioMEMS technology at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote brand awareness and generate new leads.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant information in the company's CRM system.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Abbott and the CardioMEMS technology, promoting the company's values and mission to improve patient outcomes.
  14. Travel within the designated region as needed to meet with customers, attend meetings, and participate in other sales-related activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Successful Sales Experience In The Medical Device Industry, With A Focus On Cardiovascular Products.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or Related Field. Mba Or Other Advanced Degree Preferred.

  • Proven Track Record Of Building And Leading High-Performing Sales Teams, With A Strong Emphasis On Coaching And Development.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Regional Market And Key Customers, With A Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Execute Strategic Business Plans.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Customers, Kols, And Internal Teams.
