  1. Develop and execute global public affairs strategies to promote Abbott's nutrition products and initiatives.
  2. Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and advocacy groups.
  3. Represent Abbott in public forums and events, effectively communicating the company's message and values.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of public affairs strategies with business goals and objectives.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to nutrition and healthcare and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. Develop and maintain crisis communication plans to handle potential reputational issues.
  7. Conduct media training for key spokespeople within the company.
  8. Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of Abbott's nutrition products globally.
  9. Work closely with internal and external partners to create and promote educational materials on nutrition and healthcare.
  10. Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve public affairs objectives.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on public affairs and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
  12. Stay updated on global political and social issues that may impact Abbott and its nutrition products.
  13. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency of messaging and brand image across different regions.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with industry associations and leverage them to advocate for Abbott's nutrition products and initiatives.
  15. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools to enhance the company's public affairs efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Public Affairs, Preferably In The Nutrition Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Executing Global Content Strategies.

  • Strong Understanding Of Nutrition And Health-Related Issues, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Media, Government Officials, And Advocacy Groups.
