- Develop and implement comprehensive medical education programs that align with Abbott's overall objectives and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and medical affairs to identify educational needs and ensure alignment of messaging and materials.
- Lead the planning, organization, and execution of medical education events, including seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to support the delivery of high-quality education programs.
- Utilize market research and feedback to continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of medical education programs.
- Manage the budget and resources for medical education initiatives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of company resources.
- Provide guidance and support to the medical education team, including training and development opportunities, to ensure their continued growth and success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in medical education and incorporate them into program development.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of educational materials and resources, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and impactful.
- Monitor and report on the success and impact of medical education programs to senior leadership, using data and metrics to support program effectiveness.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing Abbott's medical education initiatives and promoting the company's mission and values.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to medical education, including but not limited to Sunshine Act reporting and FDA guidelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization, promoting a passion for education and knowledge sharing.
- Represent Abbott at industry conferences and events, networking and building relationships within the medical education community.
- Contribute to the development of long-term medical education strategies and plans, supporting the company's vision and goals.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Education, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Medical Education, Preferably In A Management Or Leadership Role.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Compliance, Including Knowledge Of Accme And Ama Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Healthcare Professionals, And Internal Teams.
Proven Leadership Abilities, With A Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Implementing Educational Programs And Initiatives.
