  1. Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure for Abbott's healthcare technology.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Kubernetes and other DevOps tools.
  3. Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and automation tools to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of applications.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement necessary optimizations.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the reliability, security, and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps to continuously improve Abbott's processes and systems.
  7. Conduct thorough testing and documentation of all changes to the Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure stability and compliance with company standards.
  8. Train and mentor team members on Kubernetes and DevOps principles and practices to promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  9. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, team members, and other departments, to provide updates on project progress and escalate any critical issues.
  10. Uphold Abbott's values and standards of excellence in all aspects of work, including delivering high-quality solutions, adhering to timelines, and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Kubernetes Architecture And Best Practices: A Strong Understanding Of Kubernetes Concepts Such As Pods, Deployments, Services, And Controllers Is Essential For A Kubernetes Cloud Engineer/Devops Role At Abbott.

  • Proficiency In Containerization Technologies: Experience With Containerization Tools Such As Docker And Container Orchestration Platforms Like Kubernetes Is A Must For This Role.
