Job Description

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, at least 10 years of experience in healthcare marketing, and a strong understanding of the vascular market.   1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for Abbott's vascular product portfolio to drive growth and increase market share.
  2. Analyze market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to execute marketing initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and clinical affairs to ensure alignment and maximize impact of marketing efforts.
  5. Conduct market research and gather insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and targeting.
  6. Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  7. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and key opinion leaders.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
  10. Champion a customer-centric approach in all marketing activities and ensure that patient needs are at the forefront of decision making.
  11. Identify and pursue partnerships and collaborations to enhance the reach and impact of Abbott's vascular products.
  12. Represent Abbott at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote our products and build brand awareness.
  13. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing team.
  14. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in all marketing activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Marketing Or Related Field: A Successful Candidate For The Head Of Marketing, Vascular Role At Abbott Should Have A Relevant Degree In Marketing Or A Related Field Such As Business Administration Or Communications.   • Previous Experience In The Medical Device Industry: Abbott Is A Global Leader In The Medical Device Industry, And It Is Important For The Head Of Marketing, Vascular To Have Previous Experience In This Field. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Unique Challenges And Regulations Of Marketing In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Marketing Campaigns: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Marketing Campaigns. This Could Include Increasing Brand Awareness, Launching New Products, Or Driving Sales Growth. Previous Experience In The Healthcare Industry Or Specifically In Vascular Products Would Be A Plus.
