At Abbott, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food Safety Manager to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a Food Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing food safety and quality strategies, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for monitoring food safety and quality performance, developing and implementing corrective actions, and providing training and guidance to our team.We're looking for an individual with a passion for food safety and quality, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in food science, food safety, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a food safety role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, SQF, and other food safety programs and regulations is essential. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
