  1. Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify emerging flavor trends and consumer preferences.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including food scientists, marketing, and product development, to develop and implement flavor solutions that meet product objectives.
  3. Utilize your knowledge of food science and flavor chemistry to develop new and innovative flavor profiles.
  4. Conduct flavor application testing to ensure product quality and consistency.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor products to identify potential flavor opportunities.
  6. Lead flavor development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  7. Create and maintain accurate and detailed records of all flavor formulations and testing results.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality and innovative flavor ingredients.
  9. Conduct sensory evaluations and provide recommendations for flavor improvements.
  10. Continuously strive to improve and optimize flavor solutions to meet consumer demands and preferences.
  11. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to present flavor solutions and provide updates on project progress.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in flavor technology.
  13. Adhere to all safety and quality standards in flavor development and testing processes.
  14. Train and mentor junior flavor scientists to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge within the team.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment to foster creativity and innovation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Food Or Flavor Industry.

  • Proficiency In Flavor Formulation And Testing, Including Knowledge Of Sensory Evaluation Techniques.

  • Experience Working With Natural And Artificial Flavors, As Well As Regulatory Requirements And Labeling Laws.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Other Teams Such As Marketing And R&D.
