  1. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Abbott's products, taking into consideration market trends, historical data, and input from key stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify demand drivers, and make recommendations for improving forecasting accuracy.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for inventory management to ensure product availability and minimize excess stock.
  4. Conduct regular demand planning meetings with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align on demand forecasts and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  5. Utilize forecasting tools and systems to generate and maintain accurate demand plans and reports.
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting and demand planning processes.
  7. Monitor and communicate any changes in demand patterns or market trends that could impact product demand.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to meet demand.
  9. Maintain a deep understanding of Abbott's products, market, and customer needs to inform demand planning decisions.
  10. Proactively identify and address any demand planning issues or discrepancies to minimize supply chain disruptions.
  11. Provide regular updates and insights on demand forecasting and performance to key stakeholders and management.
  12. Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in demand planning to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Contribute to the overall success of the supply chain team by collaborating on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning Or Forecasting Within The Healthcare Or Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Experience Using Demand Planning Software And Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Sales, Marketing, And Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Trends, Market Dynamics, And Regulatory Requirements To Inform Demand Forecasting And Planning Decisions.
