Job Description

If so, we invite you to join our team at Abbott as a Clinical Specialist I, CPT. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise and technical skills to support our cutting-edge cardiac rhythm management technology. We are looking for individuals who possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting. If you are a self-motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused individual, we would love to hear from you!

  1. Serve as a subject matter expert on cardiovascular physiology and the use of cardiac rhythm management technology.
  2. Provide technical and clinical support to healthcare professionals and patients on the use of Abbott's products.
  3. Perform product demonstrations and train healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of our technology.
  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in cardiac rhythm management technology.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and provide input on product development and improvement.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions with customers.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and clinical issues related to Abbott's products.
  8. Conduct clinical research and participate in clinical trials to gather data and provide insights on product performance.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare organizations.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  11. Serve as a resource for sales and marketing teams by providing clinical and technical expertise.
  12. Participate in conferences, seminars, and other events to promote Abbott's products and educate healthcare professionals.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Nursing, Exercise Physiology, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Certification As A Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality (Cphq) Or Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist (Ces) Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Rhythm Management (Crm) And Electrophysiology (Ep) Technologies, Including Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (Icds) And Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (Crt).

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Train Healthcare Professionals On Abbott Products And Procedures.
