Healthy Aging Center Laguna Woods (formerly: South County Adult Day Services) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for frail older adults, persons with dementia or other disabilities and their families by providing expert, supportive care in an inviting and interactive setting. We provide community-based services that serve both the medical and social needs of individuals who are living at home, but need daytime assistance for their health needs.

A human services (also known as social services) nonprofit is any non-profit organization that serves people with their projects and programs. This can be anything from group homes for people with substance abuse problems to foster care agencies. Most organizations are either funded by or affiliated with (through referrals, for example) with local, state and national government human services agencies. Human Services charities provide networks of direct services to people in need. They feed our hungry, strengthen our communities, shelter our homeless, care for our elderly, and nurture our young. Human services is a broad sector that includes a broad range of disciplines, knowledge, and skills focused on enhancing human well-being, both individually and collectively.
