Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Whirlpool team! The successful candidate will be a highly organized and motivated individual with an aptitude for hands-on work. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and equipment are functioning properly and in good condition.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical and mechanical skills, an eye for detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. They should also have excellent communication skills to work with other members of the Whirlpool team.Required qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role• Knowledge of installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment• Ability to read and interpret schematics• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards• Strong communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you think you have the right skills and experience for this role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment in the Whirlpool facility.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and/or electrical problems.
3. Perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
4. Monitor and inspect all equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and is in good condition.
5. Follow safety regulations and standards.
6. Maintain records of all work performed.
7. Communicate effectively with all members of the Whirlpool team.
8. Assist with the installation of new equipment.
9. Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and best practices.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
