Supply Chain Analyst

Vesuvius is looking for an ambitious, experienced Supply Chain Analyst who is passionate about driving efficiency and optimization within our global supply chain. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be responsible for analyzing and driving supply chain improvement initiatives, providing regular insights, and ensuring our supply chain processes are effective and efficient. To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years’ experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role. You must also have an in-depth understanding of supply chain operations and processes, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also essential for this role. Responsibilities:

1. Implementing and monitoring supply chain processes and performance metrics to ensure maximum efficiency and optimization.
2. Identifying and analyzing opportunities for improvement within the supply chain, and developing solutions to drive cost savings and process improvements.
3. Presenting detailed supply chain analysis and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
4. Developing and managing supply chain analytics and models.
5. Creating forecasting and budgeting plans to ensure accuracy of supply and demand.
6. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate communication and resolution of supply chain issues.
7. Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers.
8. Monitoring industry and market trends to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
9. Developing and maintaining supply chain documentation, such as policies and procedures.
10. Maintaining detailed records and data related to supply chain activities.
