- Continuously evaluate and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms for materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to supply chain management.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
- Train and support other team members on supply chain processes and procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between various departments and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve any supply chain-related issues.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input and insights on supply chain processes and procedures.
- Uphold the university's values and standards while representing the supply chain team in all interactions.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure all purchasing and procurement procedures align with supply chain objectives and goals.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the supply chain process.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.
Knowledge Of Procurement And Inventory Management Processes And Procedures.
Familiarity With Supply Chain Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
