  1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive dental cleanings for patients, including removing plaque and calculus, taking X-rays, and performing other necessary procedures.
  2. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
  3. Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed.
  4. Ensure all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Perform periodontal charting and assist with the diagnosis and treatment planning process.
  6. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and address any concerns or questions.
  7. Continuously stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of dental hygiene.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
  9. Communicate with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  10. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
  11. Act as an ambassador for the practice by promoting our services and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  12. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the field of dental hygiene.
  13. Comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to dental hygiene.
  14. Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
  15. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the practice manager or supervising dentist.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Dental Hygiene Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Current State License To Practice Dental Hygiene.

  • Cpr Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Dental Hygienist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Interact With Patients Of Diverse Backgrounds.
