Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join our team and support our mission of fostering a vibrant and successful campus community. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing engagement activities and events for our student body. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, our ideal candidate is creative and enthusiastic, and has a passion for making a difference in the lives of the students at UC Riverside. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and coordinate engagement activities and events for student body.
  2. Create and implement innovative engagement strategies and initiatives to foster a vibrant and successful campus community.
  3. Develop and manage budgets for engagement activities.
  4. Monitor and evaluate engagement activities and events for effectiveness.
  5. Collaborate with campus stakeholders to ensure successful execution of events and activities.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with student groups and organizations.
  7. Track attendance and other data related to engagement activities and events.
  8. Maintain records of engagement activity budgets, attendance, and outcomes.
  9. Manage and coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, set up, and clean up.
  10. Monitor and evaluate student feedback regarding engagement activities and events.
