- Develop and teach undergraduate courses in sports journalism, including but not limited to sports reporting, sports writing, and sports media production.
- Mentor and advise students on their academic and career goals, providing guidance and support as they navigate the world of sports journalism.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in sports media to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and prepares students for the ever-changing landscape of the field.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and activities to contribute to the overall academic community and promote the program.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals to facilitate internship and job opportunities for students.
- Engage in scholarly research and publication in the field of sports journalism.
- Serve as a role model for students, embodying the values of ethical and responsible journalism.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of students for the sports journalism program.
- Contribute to the development and assessment of student learning outcomes for the program.

A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Journalism, Sports Media, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In The Sports Journalism Industry, With A Strong Background In Digital Media And Multimedia Storytelling.
Demonstrated Experience And Expertise In Teaching Sports Journalism Courses At The University Level, With A Strong Record Of Student Success And Engagement.
Proven Ability To Establish And Maintain Relationships With Industry Professionals, And To Facilitate Internship And Networking Opportunities For Students.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With A Passion For Mentoring And Guiding Students In Their Pursuit Of Careers In Sports Journalism.
