  1. Answer and direct incoming calls, messages, and pages in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Ensure all messages are delivered accurately and efficiently to the intended recipient.
  3. Monitor and respond to all hospital codes and emergencies.
  4. Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  5. Coordinate communication between different departments and staff members.
  6. Update and maintain the hospital's internal communication system.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  8. Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing messages.
  9. Follow all hospital policies and procedures regarding communication protocols.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to communication systems.
  11. Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  12. Remain up-to-date on all hospital events, announcements, and protocols.
  13. Assist with training new communication operators as needed.
  14. Maintain the confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.
  15. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
