  1. Assist with procedures: The PRN Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the healthcare team with various procedures such as administering medications, taking biopsies, and preparing patients for treatments.
  2. Prepare treatment rooms: The Medical Assistant will ensure that treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for patient procedures. This includes setting up equipment, sterilizing tools, and arranging supplies.
  3. Take vital signs: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for taking and recording patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
  4. Ensure patient comfort: The Medical Assistant will prioritize patient comfort and well-being by providing emotional support, answering questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
  5. Provide support to physicians, nurses, and radiation therapists: The Medical Assistant will work closely with the healthcare team to support them in delivering high-quality care to patients. This may include assisting with documentation, communicating with patients, and providing assistance during procedures.
  6. Maintain medical records: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, procedures performed, and any other relevant medical data in patient records.
  7. Follow infection control protocols: The PRN Medical Assistant will adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare workers.

  11. Adhere to all policies and procedures: The PRN Medical Assistant must comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including ethical standards, HIPAA regulations, and safety protocols.
