Job Description

Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments. This includes inspecting and recording any damaged items, document shipment contents, and corresponds with shippers to rectify missing information, damages and shortages. Assemble and fill boxes and cartons with items that need to be shipped. Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to packaged being shipped. Move goods using tote boxes, racks, carts, hand trucks and other material handling equipment. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods moving through service centers. Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Job Qualifications

  • One year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving

  • Able to safely operate a pallet jack and lift to 100 pounds at a time

  • Reliable and available to work a standard workweek (M-F 8AM to 5PM), seldom weekends and evenings (scheduled in advance)
